“Chariots of Fire” proved to be a perfect fit as a Chord/Melody arrangement . . . Remember, in Chord/Melody style you simply place the fingers on the chord and brush it with just the thumb. . . The melody automatically presents itself . . . Below is a short excerpt from this iconic soundtrack . . .

Chariots 1

Learning this piece will give us a great “opportunity” to finally learn to play our Bb chord. It’s such an important chord to us as it appears in virtually every song in the Key of F. . . The Key of F is one of the most ideal keys for playing solo instrumentals on the Ukulele.

Below is yet again another short excerpt . .  This clip is the beginning of the BRIDGE to the song. . .

Chariots 2

Notice in measure 18, the Bb chord is an entirely different fingering from that found at the beginning of the piece.. . This, of course, is an upper fret Chord inversion of Bb. . . It requires playing only the first 3 strings so be careful not to strum the 4th string.

“Chariots Of Fire” is contained in the Chord/Melody eBook TWO and can be purchased by making a payment of just $20.00 through the paypal button on the Ukulele Mike website: http://www.ukulelemikelynch.comOnce purchased, it will be emailed to you within the day.
